About Emil Cicogna

A life-long educator, Cicogna brings his vast classroom knowledge to storytelling. 

 

A gifted speaker, he inspires new teachers and parents who are dedicated to helping young minds learn. 

 Emil Cicogna began teaching in the New York City Public Schools in 1987, and is still involved in education today as an instructor at Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, Arizona, in the College of Education, teaching introductory  to graduate-level courses.

 

Emil works with many student teachers online to help them develop strategies to reach their struggling students in every level of K-12 education.

Emil received  his Master's Degree in Education/Reading from Western Connecticut State University. 

​

He lives in Anthem, Arizona with his amazing wife Grace, and when he's not teaching, grading papers, writing, or riding his bike, he enjoys spending time with family.
